 Therapy 

Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) for PTSD: An evidence based treatment for individuals suffering from Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. This treatment is available for adolescents, and adults. 

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: A time-sensitive psychotherapy that focus on identifying goals and overcoming obstacles. This therapy is available for children, adolescents, and adults. 

Cognitive Processing Therapy: A short-term and evidence based treatment for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy: An evidence-based treatment that addresses many mental health problems.

Play-based Therapy: This therapy is available for little ones between 3-5 years old. Individuals will work on ways to gain pro-social skills, to improve socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. 

Expressive Arts Therapy: This incorporates psychotherapy, art therapy (e.g., drawing, coloring, painting, etc.), and writing (e.g., journaling, poetry, etc.) in sessions. This is available to all ages. 

Individual Therapy: Any individual that wants to address deficits in social skills, to improve self-esteem, to address trauma, and other mental health concerns. In addition, individual therapy is provided for parent(s) seeking reunification with their youths-in-care. 

Couples Therapy: Available to couples facing challenges with interpersonal problems, communication, conflicts, grief or loss, and other marital concerns. The therapist will use level 1 foundation from Gottman Method Couple Therapy during sessions. 

 

Family Therapy: A psychotherapy approach for families needing assistances with resolving conflict, communication, and other distresses. Referrals from schools, child welfare agencies, and other community agency are welcome. 

Group Therapy: Offer to 5-17 years old. Some topics are on Anxiety, Conflict Management, Impulse Control, Self-Regulation, Eating Disorders, Self-Injurious Behaviors, and Self-Esteem. Those who are diagnosed with Autism/PDD, and other diagnoses are strongly encouraged to participate.
