About the Social Worker....

This private practice was established as another avenue for all ages seeking clinical services in the near and surrounding Western Suburbs of Chicago. We welcome all “walks of life” such as those from various cultural backgrounds who are facing challenges with mental health disorders, Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Youths-in-Care, family dynamics, and many more. 

Ms. Amison has 19 years specializing in infant mental health, child welfare, grief/loss/trauma, school based concerns, developmental disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, employees assistance programs services, and behavior management. She worked 13 years in various educational settings, and she is an ISBE Approved Evaluator. Lastly, Ms. Amison is an Independent Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant, a registered Social Worker CE Sponsor in Illinois and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional. She is compassionate about working with individuals with special needs and those suffering from mental health concerns. Ms. Amison is dedicated, professional, and she treat everyone with respect. She is interested in knitting, jewelry making, watching movies, blogging, and reading.
